    Horse Boarding

    Rate: $350/month

  • Riding Lessons / Therapeutic Riding Lessons

    Our programs are designed around rider experience and knowledge desires.
    Topics often include groundwork and horsemanship, horse behavior, general care and maintenance, and of course proper riding techniques. We have several lesson horses available and trailer-ins are welcome.

    Southern Tier Stables is also fully insured to provide therapeutic lessons by a PATH (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) International certified riding instructor. Please call or visit our webpage for more detail and to see if our program would fit your needs.

    Southern Tier Stables has over 100 acres of maintained trails that run adjacent to State land. Trailer-ins are welcome. Weekend campers are also welcome (please call for rates and availability).

    For any rider wishing to use a Southern Tier Horse, the ride includes a brief 10-15 minute instructional lesson to gauge the abilities of the rider and suitability of horse to rider. We also require any rider on a Southern Tier Stables horse to wear a helmet, regardless of age and/or riding experience. Please dress comfortably and wear a shoe or boot with a heel.

    We reserve the right to deny your ride (with refund) or send you out on a guided trail ride.

  • The tack shop at Southern TierTack Shop

    We have a full service Tack Shop on the premises filled with horse tack, supplies, clothing, helmets, consignment items, gifts, and much, much more. If we don't have it in stock, it can be ordered.

    Saddle fitting is also available to assure your purchase properly fits both you and your horse!
